In this virtual class, we’ll walk through the basics of gel printing in a simple, beginner-friendly way. You’ll learn how to use a gel plate, how to apply paint, how to pull prints, and how to build beautiful layers without overthinking it.
We’ll cover:
How to use a gel plate and brayer
How to make marks and create texture
How to layer colors and patterns
How to use stencils and stamps on the gel plate
How to create fun background papers for journals, cards, collage, mixed media, and more
This class is perfect if you’ve been curious about gel printing but didn’t know where to start, or if you already have a plate and need a little creative push.
Grab your paint, your gel plate, your brayer, and a few papers. We’re going to get messy, have fun, and make some really cool prints together.
