Artistic Fusion Policies and Procedures

At Artistic Fusion, the safety and well-being of our mini makers are our top priorities. Below are the policies and procedures we follow during any camp, class, or event where parents leave their children in our care:

Health Policy: If a child shows signs of illness, such as a fever above 100.4°F, persistent cough, shortness of breath, vomiting, visible rash, or other symptoms of contagious illnesses (including COVID-19), they must stay home to ensure the safety of others. If symptoms arise during camp, a parent or emergency contact will be notified immediately for pickup. The studio reserves the right to request a doctor’s note before the child returns to camp.
Contagious Illness Notification: In the event of a confirmed contagious illness in camp, all parents will be notified promptly via email or phone.
Life-Threatening Allergies: If a child has a severe allergy, all parents will be informed to help prevent accidental exposure. Parents of the affected camper must provide necessary medications (e.g., Epipen) and written instructions for emergency use. Artistic Fusion staff may administer medication only in a life-saving situation.
Emergency Situations: In the event of a life-threatening emergency, 911 will be called immediately, followed by notification of the child’s parents or emergency contacts. An incident report will also be completed.
Cleanliness and Sanitation: If a child becomes sick during camp and there is exposure to bodily fluids, staff will use proper cleaning protocols, including gloves and bleach-based products, to sanitize the area. Soiled clothing will be bagged and discarded.
Supervision: Children will be supervised at all times. Children will never be left unattended under any circumstance.
Behavior Guidelines: At the start of camp, the following rules will be discussed with all participants:

Speak and act kindly.
Use materials properly.
Follow teacher instructions.
Have fun!

Disruptive behavior will be addressed as follows:

First warning from the teacher.
Second warning and discussion with the camp leader.
Parent notification about the behavior.
If needed, the child will be sent home.

Mandatory Enrollment Numbers: Camps require a minimum of three children to run. Parents will be notified at least 24 hours in advance if a camp must be canceled due to low enrollment, and a full refund will be issued.
Liability Waiver: By enrolling their child, parents agree to release Artistic Fusion and its staff from liability for personal injury, property damage, or any other claims arising from camp participation. Parents acknowledge and accept any inherent risks associated with camp activities.
Emergency Medical Permission: If an emergency arises and parents or emergency contacts cannot be reached, Artistic Fusion staff have permission to seek medical care for the child at the nearest facility. Parents will be responsible for all medical expenses.
COVID-19 Compliance: Parents must confirm that their child has not tested positive for COVID-19, exhibited symptoms, or been exposed to a suspected case within 14 days of attending camp.

Artistic Fusion camps are not licensed programs and are not required to be licensed by the state of Georgia. For additional information about this, please contact Bright From The Start at the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.

By enrolling in Artistic Fusion Mini Makers Creative Camp, parents certify that they have read, understood, and agree to these policies and procedures.
